As an immigrant to the United States who himself started to work as an dishwasher and ended up as an Senior Banking Associate at an insurance company I can identify with the characters in the book
and hardships and successes they suffered and enjoyed. I enjoyed the book very much.

Amazing book.

Very well written. Holds your attention till the end. Be prepared to laugh and cry.
It is a true story of a woman that came to America to pursue her American dream.
She gives you a great picture of what it is like to be here alone and trying to make it.
Truly remarkable story.

Could not put it down. This is a very very good book. Wish that more of her work was translated into English, or even available in Slovak through Amazon.
