About the Author
Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. Entrapment is the penultimate book in the totally thrilling Infidelity series and Aleatha Romig doesn’t let up on this rollercoaster ride. It seems we are going around again!! After the jaw dropping ending to Deception, Entrapment begins where we were left hanging.
Charli is once again in the hands of her evil step father, Alton and Bryce, the man that she is expected to marry, two men that I wouldn’t and couldn’t trust as far as I could throw them. The lengths that these two will go to, to line their pockets with ill-gotten gains holds no bounds. Alton and Bryce are two men without morals or scruples and it seems that they haven’t played their best hand yet.
“I knew that no one within the manor would throw me a life raft. I was alone in a sea of people.”
Entrapment is a total role reversal from the previous books. In Entrapment, Charli really shows her inner strength and shows that she can be just as conniving as the men that are trying to dictate her life. Charli has a plan, but it remains to be seen whether it holds any merit and the possibilities for failure are endless especially when she is up against two men that are dictators and have a bottomless pit of money at their fingertips to ensure her co-operation. Blackmail, security, locks, tracking, video feeds are the bane of her life and ensure her compliance. She is a hamster in a cage and big brother was definitely watching.
“You said it, Alex. Nothing here is real.”
Charli has to pull on every ounce of reserve she has to get through this, but it is Nox’s love and the love that she has for her mother that keeps her going. At the end of the day all Charli wants is for her mother to be well and out of Alton’s clutches, she wants Montague to remain in the family and ultimately wants her life with Nox to resume with no threats hanging over them. This is a tall order for someone that is fighting blindly and against formidable opponents but you didn’t think that Nox was going to let her do this alone?

Nox is on the outside barely holding onto his sanity and it is here where the role reversal is complete. We finally got to see Nox’s vulnerable side and it was a joy to see. Nox is not as impenetrable as he first thought and days and nights without Charli by his side is the worst punishment he has ever endured. That feeling of being powerless and not in control is something foreign and not something that Nox wants to become familiar with either. Nox has his own allies and his own bottomless pit and can be just as conniving as Alton and Bryce and it seems that he is definitely going to fight fire with fire.
“Alexandria Charli Montagu Collins is mine. I’m not a good man, but I’m the only effing bad I want near her.”
The highs in this book were just as great as the lows and the fact that, Oren, Nox’s father steps up to the plate in this book absolutely made my day. I always knew that there was good under the Oren Demetri businessman façade and Oren really makes his presence felt in Entrapment. Alton was an adversary once and Oren will definitely not be walking away this time. The insight into his past was extremely welcomed and once again gave a totally different opinion of the man that we were originally led to believe Oren was.
Entrapment only spans a few days of Charli’s incarceration at Montague Manor. But, and this is a huge but, this is the culmination of every underhand action, the deceit, all the secrets, lies and manipulations come to a head in a frenzy of activity. This book is chock full and you really need to take your time in reading to really get to grips with everything that is unfolding before your eyes. So many jaw dropping moments as some of my theories became a reality and even though they were what I originally anticipated their delivery made no less of an impact. There really is no limit to Alton and Bryce’s actions in this disgusting battle of power and greed, where non-compliance is not acceptable by any means.

Aleatha Romig has a conniving mind and her delivery of these stories never fails to captivate me with every shocking twist and turn. She is the queen of suspense and intrigue and always delivers an unputdownable read. Normally, series have usually lost their steam by now but with each book in this series the plot just thickens and layers upon layers of intricate plot twists finally begin to unravel and piece by piece the fragmented picture starts to become whole. This was a fantastic prelude into the final book, Fidelity that is scheduled for release in January. How on earth I am going to be able to wait till them remains a mystery in itself. As usual Aleatha Romig ended Entrapment with a bang and one that you definitely won’t be able to forget. Another fantastic instalment, I need Fidelity NOW!

5 Hold-Your-Breath-Oh-No-No-No! Stars!!!!

To say I have been eagerly awaiting this fourth book in The Infidelity Series by Aleatha Romig would be an understatement. I absolutely LOVE this series. Deception, Book 3, was my favorite read of 2016, until I read Entrapment, Book 4. If I could figure out how this author can captivate a reader from the first page and have them in her grasp until the last page and beyond until she releases her next book, I’d bottle it and sell it to every author I read! I’m not a fan of spoiler reviews and therefore, I will just say, this book blew me away. It was every bit as enticing, suspenseful, and delicious as the three prior books in this series. The characters and the story just jump off the pages and grab you by the throat, pulling you in and holding your attention until you are either screaming, crying, hyperventilating or maybe all three of those things at the same time! Then there is always the ending or as I like to refer to it, “the carrot dangling on the stick on the last page.” The idea that you must wait months for that carrot doesn’t sit well with some people. As for myself, I would wait years for that carrot where this author is concerned. In my opinion, her writing and her books are more than worth it. Whether you read for fun, for escape, for suspense, for an adrenaline rush, for relaxation, or for romance, this series has it all. I highly recommend this book and the entire Infidelity Series. I’m now anxiously awaiting the Fifth and final book in the series releasing early next year, although, to be honest, I’m not all that eager for this series to come to an end!

Fantastic!!!

Entrapment is book 4 of 5 in the Infidelity series and it just keeps getting better and better! I was screaming when I finish reading this book and have been in a book hangover ever since.
When Alex got into that car at the end of Deception my heart beat out of my chest. I knew then that she was going to be trapped in a living nightmare and I wasn't wrong. She will do whatever it takes to save her mom. It was painful to read what she's gone through. Yet, I was so proud of her strength and determination.
Nox will do whatever it takes to get his Charlie back. I loved him more with every turn of the page. Nox may not think he is her Prince Charming, but in my eyes he most definitely is.
Secrets, lies and truth all combine for one heck of a ride. Just when you think that Alton and Bryce can't be any more vile and disgusting, you will be proven wrong. You're going to be on the edge of your seat and glued to your Kindle. I can seriously say I was an absolute mess reading this book. I provided great entertainment for my husband as he watched me reading and yelling at my kindle!
If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would!
