Satisfying conclusion

It's time to say goodbye to Ethan and Danielle with the third and final book of the Fateful series! Forever is the final book and you`ll want to grab Fateful and Fractured first before reading this. Right from page one we are swept back to the story of Ethan and Danielle as humans struggling to survive with the protection of the vampires by their side. They are desperate for a normal life that doesn't involved being stalked by werewolves, vampires, witches and pixies!

As Ethan and Danielle struggle to survive with all the paranormal creatures after them they meet some new and interesting creatures! We meet the mystical and alluring mermaids that try to lure them in to the ocean, the witches, the evil pixies and the scariest of all where the spiders! I am not a fan of spiders to begin with and the way Cheri describes the spider scenes made my skin crawl, very realistic and creepy!

My favorite thing about this series is its originality. There are lots of stories out there that have paranormal activity going on but nothing quite compares to the way Cheri Schmidt weaves these creatures together in an original one-of-a-kind tale. I also really enjoyed the main characters Ethan and Danielle. Never did the author add a love triangle to the situation, which was refreshing, but they still dealt with realistic struggles and ups and downs. They were very genuine and lovable.

I'm sad to see this series come to in an end but I am satisfied with how we say good bye to these lovable characters and I'm looking forward to more stories by this talented author.

The best of the Fateful series!

let me start with OMG it seemed like we waited forever for this to come out and it didnt disappoint! It was by far the best of the series....we finally get to see Danielle and Ethan get there happy ever after, but not without some kindnapping, torture, and magic...but what would a day in Danielle and Ethans lives be like if something wasnt out to get them for curing the vampire curse!

In Forever we once again find Danielle and Ethans love put to the test as they are ripped apart from each other by more cursed creatures. Tired of the constant once a month break ins by the werewolves they seek help from Alohra and the faries, and from that point on the book is nothing but excitement! As there past familiarity is slowly shown to them in magic induced dreams, we get to see how they know eachother *something ive been dieing to know* they are once again torn apart and forced to seek shelter in magical cove, where we get to see more mythical creatures! and OMG the most horrifing part with possessed spiders...of all things why SPIDERS! I will be having nightmears for weeks!

If you havent purchased this yet, stop waiting you will not be disappointed! *be sure to read Fateful and Fractured 1st thou....

The Ending Was.......

Wow. What an amazing way to end the series. Sometimes authors have trouble tying up all the loose ends in a story but Cheri didnt. This book is completely amazing and perfect. Without giving anything away, this story has an ending i didnt see coming along with twists around every corner. I could not put this book down. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as i did.

About the Author
Gerald Corey is Professor Emeritus of Human Services and Counseling at California State University at Fullerton. He received his doctorate in counseling from the University of Southern California. He is a Diplomate in Counseling Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology; a licensed psychologist; and a National Certified Counselor. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (Division 17, Counseling Psychology; and Division 49, Group Psychotherapy); a Fellow of the American Counseling Association; and a Fellow of the Association for Specialists in Group Work. Both Jerry and Marianne Corey received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Mental Health Counselors Association in 2011, and both also received the Eminent Career Award from ASGW in 2001. Dr. Jerry Corey was given the Outstanding Professor of the Year Award from California State University at Fullerton in 1991. He regularly teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in group counseling and ethics in counseling. He is the author or coauthor of 15 textbooks in counseling currently in print, along with more than 60 journal articles and book chapters.

Decent content, grossly overpriced, ancient footage

This DVD was required for a grad school (psychology) class. The content is so old it is hilarious. Feels like the original footage might have been shot with a cheap, consumer-grade video camera sometime in the late 1980s. I mean, for $56, the publisher can--and should deliver a much higher-quality product. The text this goes with is very concise (if cheaply made--newsprint), and the content here is pretty good (not great), but wow, was it ever funny to watch. It is long past time to make a new edition--and drop the price by 40%.

Great Supplement for the Textbook

I do wish the DVD were bundled with the textbook but since it isn't, I am thrilled that I went ahead and purchased the DVD separately because it truly is a great supplement and makes understanding the text (as well as obtaining a quick review in a relaxed fashion) much simpler! I only wish something like this was available for all textbooks ;)

The seller I bought it from was excellent in shipping and quality, and the DVD itself helps when you are first learning the counseling theories. It is worth the money, I would recommend buying it along with the book.

Good Analog Wiki Companion

If you want a relatively large (2 1/2" Thick) volume to sit nicely on your desk, this is the book for you. This is exactly as the name implies: an encyclopedia with no more than 3 paragraphs on any subject and/or battle dealing with warfare. Very complete with generally good synopsis of the battle and key players. 1 or 2 plates are provided for reference for many (1 every 3-4 pages on average).

Bottom Line: This is a good flip through reference, something to get a quick knowledge set on the subject/battle, and a good primer to start one on their squirrel hunting quest on wiki-sites for a fuller version of the battle/subject at hand.

Happy to have it

I have not had an opportunity to delve into this volume completely. It was purchased to have on hand in the event I find free time for myself to satisfy my desire to develop a better understanding of historical military action and underlying politics. I can say that I envisioned what I was looking for, but recognize that it would extremely large and expensive and take 50 yrs to read. On the other end of the spectrum are volumes like this that cover many events in the broadest of strokes. While the narratives leave much desired information out, I have determined a purpose for this as an overview. Upon a particular event piquing my interest, I can research it at length either on Wikipedia or, if that found wanting, other volumes.

That said, the book is beautiful. The format is rationale. I consider it tremendous value for what I paid. I am happy to have it

Delightful quick reference/Check Binding

Fascinating, absorbing and impossible to read (at least for some time). LOL Bought this after a reference in "The First Space General" by Edward Hirschman, the main character used this title (NOT this book) to train himself to win a Space War after 300 years of 'common man's' peace. This backfill is fabulous and delightful and definitely quicker than the 'Britanica" . Surprisingly compelling, especially the start. NOTE: The binding will NOT take strain, mine is already separating, but what else do you expect from something with 'heft'. Highly recommended. Thanks, Harry!
